Shun Makabe is a relatively normal student. He's 15 years old. He wants to become a professional boxer and is not very good at studying. He is considered the "cool, dangerous guy" of the class and lives in a small apartment with his mother.
He is unaware of Ranze Etou's family "secret" for quite some time, and even though at first he doesn't seem to be aware of Ranze as well, he soon discovers that she is something out of the common.
In Episode 25, Shun found out that Ranze can transform into whatever she bites. He decided to became closer with her in order to stay her family and his mother stay safe.
In Episode 34, It is revealed that Shun had a star birth mark under his left arm ever since he was born.
